- Adhesive urine wetness alarms : Usually composed of two parts: a sensor and a host. The sensor is in the form of a thin sheet, which can be pasted on the inner side of the diaper, and the host can be fixed on the clothing or carried by the caregiver. When the sensor detects urine, it will trigger the host to issue an alarm through a wireless signal.
- Wearable urine wetness alarms : Shaped like small clips or patches, they can be directly clipped to the edge of the diaper or pasted on the clothing. They integrate sensors and alarm devices inside, and directly emit sound or light prompts on the device itself when wetness is detected, without the need for an additional host, making them highly portable.
- Smart urine wetness alarms : Combined with IoT technology, in addition to local alarms, they can also send wetness information to the caregiver’s mobile APP via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so that caregivers can receive reminders in a timely manner even when they are not around. Some smart models may also have functions such as recording the frequency of wetness and analyzing urination patterns.
